Beep codes
My Dell notebook beeps on startup. It beeps twice at the W98 splash and then beeps twice again, still at the splash, about 20 seconds later. I recently reformatted the drive and installed W98se (previously ran on W95)and Office XP Small Business. Everything seems to run OK so I dont know whether the beeps indicate an error. Couldn't find any relevant info at the Dell site. Thanks for any insights.
