printer won't print the last line of text

i have an epson 600 printer with newly installed drivers and the like, and the pages will print perfectly except for the last line of text on an 8 by 11 printout only prints the top half of the text. the bottom half is cut off. How can i configure the settings for the entire line to be not cut off????

One way to do it would be to decrease the top and bottom margin size and/or use a smaller font size.

Yep, that's a margin problem. Been there and done that. May I suggest setting margins for .55 on all settings. Also, you may want to turn on text boundries, if you are using MsWord

    Thanks for your replys..
the problem I find is when you go to print preview, and the page is sitting perfect in the preview. yet the borders on the bottom must be slightly out of whack to indicate that line of text to be only half printed.
What is the area, beanman2k for your two selections? I am using word 97 and going into options did not bring up any of your two suggestions/

    thanks

Both are found while in Word.Margins are set in page setup, found in file/page setup. The show boundries is found in tools/options. Remember that margin settings are only as good as the printer that will use them. The settings I mentioned work on HP, Canon, and Epson.
