    Aptiva freezes

    I'm having a problem with an Aptiva that keeps freezing and must be unplugged to reset. I've re-installed w98se and that improved matters but the problem is still happening. Any suggestions?

    Check in control panel,system,control panel
    See if there are any yellow splats with ! or ? marks.
    Post what you find.

    what are you doing before the freeze ...

    my old aptiva would freeze due to the vid card overheating w/ i played graphicall intense games
