Greetings,

For the past 2 years I have been using a Hollywood Plus DVD Decoder card with my computer system. As of late, I have noticed that the picture will "skip" or pause for a brief moment throughout playback. This happens about every 30 seconds or so. Another odd thing is my speakers will occasionally crackle as well. I have noticed this issue for about 3 mnths now and can only think that my new video card may be the culprit. I have downloaded the latest drivers for all my hardware/peripherals and the problem still persists. Here is my system diagram in case this info. is needed. I also have the signal going from my computer to my tv using S-Video op/ip. I made sure that DMA setting was activated according to instructions on Sigma's support site. Evidentially DMA is one reason why it would be skipping/pausing. This did not seem to correct the problem though. Any help on this issue would be appreciated greatly. Thanks!
