    Resolved [RESOLVED] Windows live messager

    I saw 2 windows lives messagers at the right bottom of my screen. I looked at the program. Which program will I remove? Thanks

    Isn't one of them Messenger and the other Live Mail?

    Right click both ans see what is said.

    Looks like you have 2 version of IM there.

    I uninstalled the microsoft live from the add/remove program but I still see one. Can you help me again?

    You didn't say what version of windoze your running,but if it's XP. Go into add-remove programs but don't open it. On the left you will see a 'add remove windows components' option. Click that,then scroll down and take the check out of 'MSNexplorer' and 'Windows messenger'. Click on next and they will be removed. Another bit that may not be necessary,but I do anyway? Go into 'Program Files' folder and find the 'Messenger' folder rename it. I choose 'Messgrrr',but choose your own. You will get a warning message,but just ok out and reboot...

    I used the zapmessaager software to remove the windows messager. I reinstalled the older version and it works, Thx
