In XP, right click the applicationand go to 'Send to' and choose desktop.

Now you will have a shortcut on your desktop, simply drag and drop that shortcut into the quick launch area of the start menu.

    hope that helps!

wallie--Find the file msimn.exe in C:\Program Files\Outlook Express and create a shortcut from it.
(The Target line in the shortcut will read "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" including the quotes.)
Now open your Quick Launch folder and drag and drop the OE shortcut into it.
The Quick Launch folder is usually in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch . If you have already set up the Taskbar to create the Quick Launch area, you can alternatively drag and drop the short into it.
