I have the speakers turned off ... all you have do is MUTE them .... there are alot of different viewing settings on the software CD that comes with the monitor... I honestly feel that you will just love this monitor ....

I have the nvidia geforce fx 5200 ultra video card. This HP w2207h monitor does not have dvi input? It says it only have HDMI input. My video card does not have a HDMI port. Does this mean I can't use this monitor with my video card?

You can use your card with an adapter-see here:

With that quality monitor you'd be much better off getting a new video card. Plus the 5200 is one of the worst cards out there.

Ok, you guys convinced me to buy a new card. Can you suggest which one should I get? I don't know much about video cards. I would appreciate if you post a link on the one card that I should buy.
