Linksys Wireless Router - WRT54GX2
It seems to happen about every other day but I can't seem to connect into the router to use the internet. If I connect my laptop directly to the DSL modem it will then work fine. After that I re-connect the DSL back into the router and it works again. On the other days it works perfectly without taking the extra steps.
Anyone have this same issue and how do you solve this problem? Sure is a pain to have to go thru this every few days. All help is appreciated.

It sounds like the router isn't configured correctly. Could be DHCP misassigning addresses. Have you ever set the settings of the router manually?

It's strange though because on other days it works perfectly then I get up the next day and it can't find the internet. Would that still be a config issue?

DHCP can really be quirky. If your router has a hardware reset button I would try that. Usually you have to press it with a pin or straightened paper clip. Then all your settings should go to default. As long as your PC is set up to default, too, then everything should be good... in theory.
