Somehow I picked up this Malware and for weeks I am trying to remove it, unsuccessfully. Tried everything on Google, but the Malware came back almost instantly.
Any suggestions would be...

I've been using Oracle Virtual Box (Free), it seems like the best way to try or run almost any Linux program. No Hard drive needed, install from DVD or CD.

Is it OK to partition a 1TB hard drive and run 64 Bit in one partition and 32 Bit in the other?

I've tried to install and use FF4 in Windows 7, 64Bit, but it was a total disaster. Appearance and browsing was real poor, bad enough that I went back to FF3.6.

The only possibility is that Norton might be doing a scan, during shutting down. After disabling Norton, the PC might have shut down slightly faster, but...

Jim, thanks for your reply, as I said, if I disconnect the drive, all is normal. So I have to assume that the drive is the culprit.
Any other suggestions?

Since I installed and used Seagate's 1Gig external drive, it seems that the computer shutdown takes forever. Tried a few things from Google, no real change. Seagate's technical support did not have...

As long as you removed the spy ware, I would not worry about how you got it, your virus protection or firewall are not fool proof.

Thanks Jim, I did a full scan, nothing found. I deleted the file sys~FKMGUOIE and all seems fine. Thanks for your help.
