I save mine as HTML files which 1) works 2) shall work with any browser.
I also copy & save then to several locations on different HDs.

Yes & no. I got a 32 bit OS CD, but need the 64 bit Win 7 CD.

And this laptop needs 64 bit drivers for its video. It is functioning as we speak. Now to replace the broken/"refurbished" keyboard. :(

With the computers I've built, I've used DOS FDISK to make partitions & format such. :rolleyes:

I've a "refurbished" Dell laptop & have no idea of how to set the HDD to my desired partition sizes, since I cannot figure out how to "fdsik" the HD as I did with my tower XP with a floppy drive...

apparently there are various types of DELL laptops, with my "refurbished" LATITUDE E6410 being but one model.
The "refurbishment" is of questionable 'fact' due to several keys that do NOT work,...

With my olde tower & XP I used an UI Powertoy and assigned the drives letters, always assigning the CD/DVD drive as Z:.
How to do this With this DELL Latitude E6410 & Win 7 Pro? :confused:

Yes, all the drives worked OK the day before the failure. I used Avira AV scan to insure bug free every 3-4 days. :confused:

Yes it was working & all of the drives were working as expected.
Is it possible someone could have attacked my machine with a destruct 'bot? The only thing wrong with that idea is not...

Three separate HDDs suddenly went dead. I've tried DOS format and "no drives found", plus SpinRite 6 (GRC) sez "DO NOT use this on the HDD unless you are willing to suffer possible permanent damage."...

I had a separate physical SWITCH in mind. I used one 5-10 years (or more) ago. It was a bit of a PITA to solder the cable wires to/from the switch , but it worked.:p
Perhaps PRAYER for this...
