The BIOS has no option for a USB-related boot. Sony geared this machine to use their docking module but I can't retrieve one of those.
There is a network boot option but I have zero experience...

Unfortunately the Sony VAIO doesn't support booting from USB, and there is no option in BIOS and no way to change the BIOS! :eek:

Reason I was asking is that I cracked it open and found a PC133 64MB chip already in it. The computer worked with the PC133 but I don't know if it was running at that speed.
