It looks like your version of Firefox is not connecting to the Adobe Flash site either, which is not surprising since it is an old version of Firefox.

The morons at Adobe have their Flash installer set to delete the downloader for it. I'm not sure why they ever thought this was a good idea, but I always save a COPY of the downloader to a backup...

Error code 4 is not really very useful. Post a screen capture of the error dialog box you are getting.
Have you tried a different browser (Chrome, IE. etc.)?
