Oh I tried and tried.
Says BIOS license is not valid. Tried those fixes as well.

Howdy
All the fixes I tried off the net to get the downloads happening never worked.
I did a partition Backup from my old dell and put it on the SSD so I could get back to work.
BUT it has Win 7...

All stop now...Thought Id do a Win 7 update. It wont download. Looks like its trying but no data being downloaded..Common prob but no answers yet.

Ive got restore disks.
Boot / repair disks..Thats easy and long done..
Disk/ Part?
System?
Clone?
Many way to copy/ backup...

When cloning/imaging the HD to the SSD, you would only choose the 150MB and 919GB partitions.
You cant
Its all or nothing on selecting what partitions you want to clone....

Yes it has less options and works fine.
I'm cloned again but there goes 140GB to Recovery Partition of my 485GB?

We use EaseUS on our work comp.
I wipe the drive in Comp Management and fire up EaseUS Clone C to D and done. Done it 50 times. NP

Yes I figured that.
BUT you can't proceed until EaseUS sees ta formatted drive.
I downloaded Partition Manager..Ver. Its running now... copying partitions. Big fricken learning curve.

Says "If you clone onto an SSD from a HDD, however, there is a very high probability that the alignment will be off"
I can see the drive and says its RAW. So Disk/Partition will not write to it?...

Starting over....Deleted that partition in DOS.
140GB makes no sense and is a waist.

Well I got it working.
BUT just unsure why the Healthy (Recovery Partition) is 140GB? It a 500GB SSD
The Sata was 1TB and used 11.2 GB?
