Sometimes, compatibility mode allows older programs to run.
I use it to run Jazs PSP 7.0 to run in Win 10. It was old when XP came out....

The latest many times are not the greatest, many a time we may have to back up to a older version. Figuring out which one can be a PITA. Be sure to burn it to cd/dvd so you have it.

A voltage variation can and will cause routers and modems to latch up .
Power cycle the items in turn and have them on their own UPS to stop that garbage.

Normally when we change permissions, on say a folder, those same permissions are applied to everything inside. That came to a halt with that statement.

Shutdown wait a minute and then boot up. Make sure you are dealing with the file and not a junction point.
Make darn sure both drives are NTFS if any video or anything is over 4 GB in size
