Right I have never done it before. I found the monitor.inf file. actually 8 of them in the Inf folder. Am not sure what to file needs changed and what lines to edit.

good point I did clean out the computer with compressed air several times in the last few weeks thinking it was a thermal issue. I doubt its the video card fans but I will check that more in depth. ...
