While coupler will work i am trying to find more visual pleasing way of doing it. I obviously will need to drill a hole through the garage wall and i will place plate cover on the other side, but how...

I am looking to replace my AC87U and also replace Netgear 700 that i am using as AP as both start to crash and restart. I around 50 wireless devices connected in the house with few hardwired...
-
I used the wrong terminology. AC-87U has view list. Everything shows up in that list regardless if it's DHCP or static ip. As long as device is attached, it's showing up.
-
I figured out. For some reason connection list wasn't showing up correctly. Restart fixed it.
-
Lets make sure we are talking about same thing. I manually assigned the switch ip in my asus router. I turned off dhcp in my switch 15337
-
I had one laying around, i have cable going from router to the switch and yes i assigned static ip on the router side for the switch. Being switch is not actively assigning ip, why is it not showing...
-
Yes i am talking about dhcp client table and not the answer i expected. I have netgear gss108e switch that is plugged in to the asus-ac87u router. Yet whatever i plug in to the cables that go to the...
-
Is it possible to get devices that are connected to a switch but getting ip assigned by router dhcp, to show up in the router table? I assume the answer is no but never hurts to ask.
-
Never mind, i have rj45 that is backward as rj11. All of this time i thought i had rj11
-
You now confused me. I have a house with cat 5e that was run for phone line with RJ11 connectors. I assume by you saying rj11 being only 4 wires, as long as this wire has 8 wires i assume i can...
-
rj11 cat 5e and rj45 cat 5e are not the same cable? I am trying to run internet over it. It appears that cat 5 rj11 is 8 wires, am i wrong?
-
I have Cat 5e rj11 in house that are being used for telephone, from my understanding it's same as cat 5e rj45. Can i use the adapter or do i need to change the end of the cable?

No, wifi hardware is being controlled by either windows build in software or manufacture optional software. You need to use that to turn off the wifi
-
The software you using for wifi should have an option to turn off the wifi.
-
Copy the link and open new browser and see if that works. As for your second question, if you turn off the wifi before connecting the tp-link it should stay off.
-
update: problem only partially got fixed being it would stop working after every restart. To make this problem go away completely i set up batch in task scheduler that runs every time i start up...
-
What happens if you do windows+r , run cmd and type ping www.google.com
-
Problem been fixed on the computer that couldn't see it. Not sure why the other one could but here is what I did.
1) Turn on Function Discovery Provider Host
2) Turn on Function Discovery...

No, the one that can see that computer is using the 10 pro, the one that can't is using the home version. Thanks for the link will give that a read.
-
Yes there are files that are being shared on that computer. I should note that my other windows 10 computers are able to see that windows 7 computer. Yes there is network password set up on that...
-
