    whats the difference between a slot A and a socket A?

    I am planning on buying an AD11 mobo with a 1GHz Tbird. However there are two versions of it, a slot A and a socket A. What is the difference between a slot and a socket, and which is better?

    Which motherboard should I get???

    I have a P2 350 ATX. I want to get a new motherboard that has at least a 1Ghz CPU and an AGP slot with with either DDRram or RDram. Which mobo should I get and with what ram would it be compatible...
