I have an old Belkin, not sure if it works or not. It is one we replaced long ago, I kept it around so hopefully it is good. If not I'll trash it. Will report back.

My WAN IP is 167.xxx.xxx.xxx.
I took another look at the router config and confirmed that there is no port forwarding turned on.

Thank You! I looked everywhere but there. So I deleted some previous attachments. Are they gone in the forum threads? Seems like someone might want to see them if they are looking for help and came...

Pretty sure I do have a unique IP. Would it help if I was to post part of my WAN IP? I was kind of leary of that, but if part of it would help I could x-out unneeded digits.
Any way to proceed...

OK it seems that we have figured out where it is coming from, is there reason for me to be concerned? I guess if my ISP had any malicious intentions it would be easy enough for them anyway.
Seems...

OK this is starting to get interesting. I seem to have sparked some interest so I did more testing. As suggested I did get around to testing directly from the ISP to my computer. But first here are...

There is no modem. My ISP is fiber optic, it comes into a demark enclosure where it is split into telephone, TV (aka Cable) and my internet service. From the demark into the house I have a Cat 5,...

I have three routers in the network. My ISP comes into my "Host router" that serves as a DHCP server, then two others connected to it. All in the 192.168.2.x range.
No forwarding that I am aware...

I talked to a tech at my ISP today. He checked and said that he did not see anything on his end.
He should not see anything on his end anyway should he? All he should see is my WAN IP, and any...

Well that was a real PITA! But after all of that I have determined that the 192.168.1.*** IP's are actually coming from my ISP.
I went in the opposite direction than HAN suggested. It just seemed...

I do have an HP printer with wireless. It has an IP of 192.168.2.107. I just did another netscan and the printer does show up with this IP.
Apparently the printer was offline when I did the scan...

Thank you HAN. It looks like I will have to do as you suggest and start from the beginning.
I think you are correct that I have some device running a fixed IP in the 168.1 range. I was hoping to...

Yes this is frustrating. Part of my frustration is my lack of complete understanding of how a network actually works.
My understanding is that my network is coming into my home from my ISP into...

Unfortunately no.
I have ran the tools suggested and am unable to find any more information than I knew to begin with. I ran a scan just before this reply and still show several IP's in the...

My ISP goes to my "Main" router, it is set up as the "Host" with an IP 192.168.2.1. It is set as the...
