Has the file changed to a .js or just the icon?
If it is the file itself that has changed then you likely have a virus.
Have all of your .jpg changed to .js extension?

In my C:\Windows folder I find several files that have no extension to them. They are all large in size.
One is Bfafbhfo and over 2mb in size (one of the smaller ones).

The problem is that Win98FE will not support hard drives larger than 32gb.
In a similar situation I wanted to install a 40gb Maxtor. It came with an overlay program to get around the Win98FE...

If you leave a copy of the message on the server then when PC2 hits the Send/Receive button it should be able to get a copy too.

I never use Outlook Express because I use Outlook.

Have you tried CamStudio? I have had good luck with it.
