Tried Audible help and their response was essentially ask the makers of your MP3 (hardly small companies, Sony & Cowon) and not helping themselves

.....reinstalled Nero 2016 and the problem returned. Tried to reinstall Nero 2012 which HAD worked, and it said it had installed, but it hadn't. Nowhere to be seen.

The reason it would only write to CD prompted an attempt to update firmware to no different effect

Ashampoo actually just crashes. All Burning progs have different ways they just hit the wall.
