Sorry about the model number, it's E1505 (sloppy typing).
Only two chipset drivers are listed - Intel - driver: mobile chipset
Richo - driver: r5c832

The drivers for these are not on the discs, or at least they can't be found. Can I get these from Dell, also? And what will I look for?

The disks I have, neither gave an option to install drivers.
There was only one driver on the Dell site that seemed to fit the problem - down loaded it and installed and it seems to be doing the...

If I do a clean install - I take it you mean of Windows, back to factory - do I use the original drive or is it ok to leave the new one in?

I finally got the new CD/DVD drive, they were out of stock, and the same thing is happening. When I eject a disk I may or may not get the blue screen.
Any other suggestions?
