You can use this program to reduce your resolution or crop the image:
Paintshop Pro 4 (Non-expiring trial period)
Easy to use and the "non-expiring" trial period is nice. ;)

I couldn't do without this program!
When I install a program I no longer get any unwanted tray icons.

I haven't seen 8 mm film since I was a kid.

You can do it with an ATI All-in-Wonder video card or TV tuner card but keep in mind that the conversion is in "real" time.

I put all of mine up on the web and deleted them on my computer.
Time consuming at first but well worth it.

Go into Control Panel and check out your modem.
