You're right. It's only the program to sign on with Compuserve. The "Online" folders are one of the FIRST things i delete when i install a new OS.
You don't need it so don't worry about it.

Since that is a USB scanner, it sounds like you need to install the usb drivers off of your OSR2 disk. If you don't have the drivers on the disk let us know and we can point you to some you can d/l....

Snarkie, when i bought my computer it had Win95b on it. It's a Gateway, and they sent a bootdisk that had my cd-rom drivers on it already. I could use it and it would automatically load my driver....

boyblue, to answer your question, there is no difference between the "full" Win98se and the "upgrade" Win98se. The only difference is that the upgrade version looks for another operating system...

Does your boot disk contain your CD-Rom drivers on it? If not you can use a Win98 boot disk w/cd-rom support and it will load the drivers on for you.
