At scren giving three options, one of which was "Install XP", the process started. It ended after maybe 20 seconds with the message "Cannot install, syste incopatible" Thank you for your prompt help.

How fast is your broadband in relation to the modem specs?. Can your ISP monitor your modem function from their office?. I found that to be a very good diagnostic of internet connection problems....
