It might also be that the BIOS is seeing the Plextor as an ATAPI CDROM on the IDE port, and that both lines are referring to the same thing. DVD drives are often shown as ATAPI CDROMs.

No, for some reason the BIOS is still seeing the old Plextor drive (DVDR PX-750A). Is that still connected?
