Change the boot order.
For some reason it is trying to network (PXE) boot and not boot off the hard drive.

After you change the view the way you want it, go into tools, then folder options.
Select the View tab, then click on apply to all folders.

Per ARIN, that IP address really does belong to microsoft.
The sc.windows.com comes from a search of some sort.

What kind of firewall do you have in place? (Since the pings will not go thru.)
