I am reasonably happy with the full IE8 in general but one thing I do miss is the facility to display the URL contained in a hyperlink on a web page.

I have reinstalled Flash again but it doesn't seem to have made any difference in that the other browers all still offer to save the swf file instead of displaying it.
Interestingly enough though,...

Actually I already had the most up to date Flash installed but I uninstalled it anyway just to see, then reinstalled it. Unfortunately now I can't access the site in any of...

I love to go onto the www.jacksonpollock.org site to produce my own masterpieces, but lately I can only get it to work with Firefox and Google Chrome. IE7 and Firefox simply don't open...

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert a MS PowerPoint Show file (.pps) back into a normal editable presentation file (.ppt)?

Oh, by the way, I forgot to say that you will have to run XP in safe mode to do the renaming because it does not allow you to mess with those files otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestion Nick, but I have already tried that once or twice and it seems to make not a whit of difference.
I think it must just be something in the nature of Outlook itself: it...

Normally when you set up and event such an appointment in the Outlook calendar and set it "show time as busy" the date turns bold in the calendar view to make life a bit easier for you.
