Ok never mind to the last post i changed the drive letter. I am in disk management and am not quite clear on how to create the second partition, is it the new simple volume?

I tried to make a partition on a one tb drive and I guess I didn't make a partition, I'm not sure what I've done actually. I was installing win 8.1 on a brand new hard drive and when a screen came up...

Ok so I screwed up I ran the scan and it found two things and I didn't save it's find it did repair it though. For some reason I thought it would auto produce the txt file. I am so sorry!!

OTL doesn't show up in safe mode and neither does any type of txt document:confused:

Otl stalls and when I start in safe mode I cannot find otl or the txt document I pasted the prompts on, so I guess I don't understand how to run things in safe mode:confused:
