Well I got it going, not sure exactly how... I put the 8888 and 8844 in DNS, but I had tried that before and it didn't work. I had netbios over tcpip, I changed that.... I also got the sp 2 and sp 3...

No I haven't tried those, I was going to try reinstalling again, but decided not too.

I will give that a try.... So you think it is the DNS Server? Thanks again for all your help....

Nothing.... I had pinged 127.0.0.1 and no loss, I pinged www.google.com and 4 received 4 loss same for www.yahoo.com

Nothing happened, it had no response at all

Ok thanks I will... It didn't do any good changing the DNS, Yes I am just using IE8 that is only one I can use, also I need sp2 and sp3, I downloaded those on my other computer, but an error came up...

Nothing I have tried has helped ? I guess I will try to do another clean install, I can't think of anything else to fix it.... It is strange that I can ping yahoo and google but can't get...

No this computer is Viva-Ken, that is the name and description both...I tried everything to get it going I must have put that in, how do I change that? Or do I need too?

It pinged both yahoo and google with no loss. I didn't have proxy on Internet Explorer....

Yes I installed those drivers... when I say server I mean my ISP, it can't find my router or Isp, I guess that is why I can't get online. I can get online with msn.com, but can't go anywhere, that is...

Still can't get pc to find my server, I have never has this much trouble before... Something must have quit in the computer, this is just crazy...
