I have seen similiar named Keys, in new clean installations of 98SE and ME. I have never investigated the cause or affect of this Key, other than if deleted it reappears.

Edit C:\Autoexec.Bat with Notepad, (right click and select Edit), and remove the line with the ASCII charactors, it looks like gibberish to you. You will notice it says REM at the beginning of it....
