Yeah, I've got that part handled, but it's only reactive - when a fault happens, I get notified about it. Which sucks, to be honest :D I'd rather proactively probe the disks periodically for failures...

Hi Train, thanks for the replies. I have exhausted my online searches before asking here, so the links you have provided are not useful.
The first manual from HP refers to their 2300 series...

Hiya,
I got myself a nice server-grade hardware RAID controller to be used in a homebrew NAS. It's a HP SmartArray P410 with 512 MB cache and battery back-up, on a PCI Express and up to 8 SAS/SATA...

Thank you for the extra research, Sheila! SevenForums doesn't allow hotlinking to a thread so the first visit always gets you to the front page to set some cookies, but the second click on the same...

Simply close the tab or the entire browser window (and all its tabs). There's an X button for it.

Hi guys, it's been a while :) I'm back with a problem that's been driving me nuts.

I still have such a dial-up router, a SMC Barricade 7004AVR, bought like 10 years ago. Boy, it sucked, and I couldn't return it; still sits here, brand new, in box. First of all, it's a 10Mbps...

Version 3 adds Themes support. SRWare Iron, the unbranded brother of Google Chrome, had the same upgrade and also supports Google's themes. Neat!
