I'm looking for a way to turn off the Windows 8.1 maintenance. I've been into task scheduler, but nothing I disable stays disabled.

The router's set up for dynamic DNS servers. The ISP (small rural one) didn't indicate if their servers are static or not. I'll try plugging in their DNS serers as static and see what happens.
