Tor
What ho one and all,
Trust Santa brought you all your worldly desires! Because he di not bring me the gun I asked for, I decided to search for it with TOR browser.
I had an older TOR version on a pen-drive, fired it up and got a memory error message. It was working the last time I used it! So uninstalled and reinstalled a newer version, only to receive the same (or similar) message.
Have no idea what is wrong. Surely it cannot be that I am running XP?
Any suggestion taken on board.
Thanks and toodle pip

Posting the exact error message is always a good idea.
Googling the error is even better.
Is it OK to install it on a pen-drive? Are there pieces of it on the hard drive?

A photo of the message; now that's an idea I did not consider! Senior moment!
Yes, I guess it is OK to install to a pen-drive since it was a Portable Apps version and it was running previously. Unfortunately, I have now removed all versions and will try an older one instead, there being no point in having a program that is not working.

Have been trying different versions and they are all giving the same (or similar) message, which was not happening a few months ago.
Essentially, 'The instructions at "0x7461445c" referenced memory at "0x7461445c." The memory could not be "written." OK to terminate the program / Cancel to debug.!"
Every time, the memory ref. is different. OK or Cancel does zilch. I have reinstalled with the same version that was previously working, and the same message.

Try installing it to your hard drive or a different flash drive.
