[RESOLVED] tough question for the right smart guy
As you know I have a dual boot system on my PC ( see signature) and I Love windows XP pro sp3 and the day will maybe never come when I completely shut down windows xp .. Scenario:
Windows Xp my internet boots right up and I'm logged in to the Net .. with mere seconds .. My emails Instant .,, etc etc
reboot PC.... boot into windows 10.. & all up to date and version 1803 & try and boot into the internet., good luck.. maybe one to two minutes until a connection!! ... and that may only last a few minutes .. I have done a multitude of tests .. I use Mozilla ( see attached) as well as Firefox for windpows XP ( see attached).. as you can see not many if any add ons ..
I have uninstalled Mozilla reinstall latest version still same problem., I have contacted my IP provided.. they have no idea..
I have done a winsock reset (netsh winsock reset is useful command that you can use in Microsoft Windows to reset winsock catalog back to default setting or clean state. You can try this if you are having following Internet access or networking problems but still failing to resolve the problem after trying all other suggestions.) ... no luck ..
any connection goes thru a plethora of handshakes and waiting .. etc etc ..
so is this a Microsoft Issue? or a firewall issue.. or what ?
I use wireless connection and am 50 feet from router but as I said winxp and my ipads and iphonesall work fast except for windows 10.
right now I'm on windows xp using this forum to post ., as I would never get any quick results with windows 10 .
Help !!
