I have Win 7 prof. When I get a photo e-mailed to me I was able to
click on it and open it. NOW when I click on it I only get the option
to save it and no programs are offered to open it. How do I get back
to the old way. I use Seamonkey 2.8

Associate the file type with a program of your choice. What file type(s) and extensions are you receiving (.jpg, .bmp, .gif, etc.)?
How long has it been since this started to happen? If it has not been too long, you could try a System Restore to a time when it was working.
I get jpg photos and when I open them it wants to save only.

Did you try the System Restore that jdc2000 suggested?
jerryhillman--Two ideas with no experience to back them up:
1) Is the email client set to block images? In Windows Live Mail, for example, if you click File|Safety Options|Security tab there is a setting to "Block images...".
Every now and then, people report that setting has been checked even though they cannot remember doing it.
2) I wonder if this has anything to do with the images actually being in "the Cloud" and not part of the email.

The only e-mail I have is in Yahoo. I cannot find: File|Safety Options|Security tab there is a setting to "Block images..."
Where would I find file/safety options settings?

There is no "File|Safety Options|Security tab|Block images" in Yahoo email. (Usually) Yahoo email is stored online, on Yahoo servers, and you use a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc. to view your Yahoo email.
IMHO, you'd probably have better luck finding answers for a Yahoo problem in one of Yahoo's forums, groups, clubs and/or communities:
Thanks for the info.
