How to fix Dell Inspiron 5000 series precision touchpad??

My laptop is going crazy, pages open and close, the pointer won't stay where I put it. Never had a laptop like this before. I have changed the settings so many times, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know a way I can get a different touchpad or any thing I can do to stop this crazy prescision touchpad? This is on Win10 Dell Inspiron 5000 series laptop...

I figure my hand must be brushing it when I am typing, but it is impossible not too. It is a crazy touchpad??

If you have a USB mouse, try disabling the touchpad:
