are images from internet stored on my computer?

Running XP Pro and Firefox

I was just searching google for a specific car commercial, clicked on a link and my screen was full of porn. Was not searching for porn. Don't want it on my machine.

Ran Spybot and Adware.

Question is aren't those pictures still on my computer somewhere? Or are they just in the cache and I can clear them by clearing the cache.

I searched for files modified today, but there is a lot to go through. Is there an easier way to find and get rid of them?

AFAIK with Firefox, clearing the cache deletes them.
