I've got a vcf and an identical file as csv but when I look at the data in Excel, instead of phone numbers I've got formulas.
How do I fix that?

Chances are the .csv file does not have quotes around the phone number field(s). There are 2 ways to fix this:
1. Add the quotes to the .csv fields, using Notepad or some other method.
2. Make a copy of the .csv file and change the extension of the copy to .txt, then open the .txt copy in Excel and go through the dialog to import text files, and change the format for the fields that are text from General to Text.
