.netrc file size error ! ! !

Hi,

I have a Korn Shell creating a dynamic .netrc file for performing a FTP job.

The .netrc is sometimes around 20K bytes. While tyring to perform the FTP it gives me the following message :

4K macro buffer exceeded

How can I solve this problem ?

Create .netrc:

.netrc
---
machine xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx login user password passwd
---

Create script file, for example:

script
---
#! /bin/sh

ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx <<EOF 2>&1
prompt off
binary

#FTP commands go here

bye
EOF
---

Run script.
