Modem

I have installed Windows ME,Now my modem name has changed to lucent win modem.I have a Viking modem.I tried to uninstall Win modem and install my Viking but it won't let me install it.Everything works ok other wise.The modem seems to run faster though.

Viking modems use a K56Flex chip which was made by Lucent and Rockwell. It is probably a general purpose driver for all K56Flex modems. If it is working, I'd leave it alone unless you can get a newer driver from Viking.
