Internet 8 problem

I get this error message when I try to us internet options>tools
I have a cable connection,Windows XP PRO..Does anyone know what might ba causeing this and how to fix it...

In Notepad, save it as "chromehtml.reg" (no ".txt" extension) on your Desktop.

Close all browser windows, (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.).

Double-click the "chromehtml.reg" file on your Desktop, and select Yes.

Reboot.

It dosent work sir...:(

Hopefully someone else will be along soon with another idea.

If this is a home computer and you are the administrator, then it might be time to scan for malware. MalwareBytes would be a good tool to start with.

If this is a work computer, then there may be rstrictions in place to prevent access.
