this is explained in the NT install instructions. both OS must use fat16.
other wise you will need a boot manager & install in 2 diff primary partitions.
The NT guys around here could explain it better (you should post a message on that forum), but here's my attempt.
Win95 should be installed first on a FAT16 drive.
Install NT. Make sure your version supports it. I'm probably wrong, but I think only NT4 will dual boot. NT must be in a different directory than 95. In fact, I don't think it will let you install into the 95 directory.
Next time you boot, it should bring up a menu to select an OS. It defaults to NT, but gives you 30 sec. to decide. You can change these settings later.
Again, check the manual and check the NT forum. I think this website also has instructions on this subject. Go to the tutorials section. http://www.virtualdr.com/tutorials/?tb Follow the links.
GOOD LUCK!!

The best product on the market is SYSTEM COMMANDER DELUXE. This product allows multiple operating systems to exist on the same hard drive. This software also allows FAT32 and NTFS partitions to exist on the same drive. Currently MS NT4.0 will not recognize or work with a Win95/98 FAT32 partition on the same drive using Windows NT 4.0 boot manager. The software is easy to install and use. goto this web page for more info <http://www.systemcommander.com/index.html>
