My friend uses this and her computer has been crashing. This is how she has it set up. Computer A is the newer computer with more speed, hardrive, and ram (250). Computer B is the older computer--less speed, smaller hardrive, less ram (160). She couldn't get the wireless modem to work at all, so she uses the regular modem. Computer A's modem won't work for some reason, so...she uses Computer B's modem. When she installed the software, she put Computer B as the 1st computer on the network because of that, with Computer A being the second on the network. Whew! Question: With the weaker computer as the #1 computer on the network, would that cause it to crash? Remember, it has about 160 of ram. It seems like that would be enough, but I'll be waiting for a response. Thanks!

160MB of RAM should be plenty. I take it you are using Internet Connection Sharing to share the modem link to the other PC? I don't know the memory requirements of that but I am sure it wont require anywhere near 160MB RAM.

Probably a dumb question, but...The original RAM was about 32 and they upgraded to the 160. We also upgraded ram on our computer, but did not notice any significant difference. How do you know for sure it is utilizing all of the added ram. It's there when you look under system/performance, but someone once told me it would run a little faster, and we sure haven't noticed anything. Thanks for responding!
