Is there a particular problem you are trying to solve or figure out? If so, post back with additional info, especially number of servers/clients/hubs/switches, configuration of these, operating systems, etc. Thx, mm Oops, almost forgot - Welcome to Virtual Dr. I think you'll find people ready and willing to assist, we just need a little more info. ------------------ mastman [This message has been edited by mastman (edited 04-17-2001).] ceh383 April 17th, 2001, 03:41 PM Welcome to VDr, Never under estimate the power of the PING. ------------------ Keyboard error or no keyboard present Press F1 to continue [This message has been edited by ceh383 (edited 04-17-2001).] patweb April 17th, 2001, 07:56 PM Tracert ------------------ P933, 133MHZ FSB, 256M RAM Ultra 160, 18.2GB Cheetah Annihilator Pro, SBLIVE, DVD, FPS SOUND MS Force Feedback, Cable Modem. I'm starting a new job and I want other people who experienced with router, switch, etc.. to give me a breakdown of what to expect on common problems that they encountered. I don't have a particular problem, but I think I know the company I'm going to work has 5 servers, 100 clients, 12 hubs, Windows NT, and not sure about switches. Thanks for helping! theitweb April 20th, 2001, 06:56 AM Well....Good luck to the company you are going to work at. Have they got any other jobs going? Seriously....this is a mamouth subject!
