Passwords/Security

At work we have roughly 350 users on mostly a metaframe/nt based system...

We run netware 5.1 and nt4.

The problem (one of hundreds) is that the passwords of both NT & Netware more often than not fail to synchronize....

Can anyone point out any immediate known problems...

MY SECOND QUESTION
Finger print scanners...I know there relativley expensive, but has anyone had use of one before...and is there anyway of networking one for say a room of 10 PC's and logging in through that for each PC?

Try using Zenworks (free from Novell's site) to get the passwords sync'd. Had the same problem on our network and Zenworks fixed the problems.
