Hi everyone

1) When I set up to share the internet between two of my computers with Sygate 3
software, do I have to use the IP address of "my" ISP to set for the server(host) machine computer? Since I don't know my server's IP address because they don't give me.

2) After I setted up my server(host) computer with the IP address that is suggested from the "Sybergen guide instruction", I can't access the web page even after my connection is "made" with my ISP, what is wrong with this?
When I removed those setting, I am able to use the internet again.

3) Do I have to install the Sygate 3 for my client computer?

Thank you very much

Ok, this is a little clearer than your previous post. You probably need 2 nics in your server computer. One for your local lan so it can share your internet connection, and one for the internet connection. I'm sure the instructions with sygate will indicate whether you need 2 or 1 nics. At any rate, you assign your own local IP, you can make it up, to your local lan TCP/IP protocol. You install sygate on the client as well and indicate the server's IP you just assigned for the client to look for the internet connection. Your isp doesn't have a static IP for you so your TCP/IP connection for the internet on your server machine will be DHCP, or blank. When you connect to the internet, it will then assign you an IP and you don't have to worry about that.
