Hi

I have made some progress. I removed my hub and directly connected my workstation and PDC server together. Now I am able to do a ping on either machine and I am able to successfully get results. My IP address for server is 131.107.2.200 and workstation is 131.107.2.201. I can ping from server for worstation and from workstation for server and I can see the other machine. From the server when I ping the workstation by computer name I still get results. However when I ping the server by computer name from the workstation it says Bad IP address.

I still continue to have the problem that I cannot add my workstation to the domain defined by my PDC. When I go to network neighbourhood I still continue to see only the one machine. On the server it is the server machine under my domain under the windows network. On the workstation it is only the workstation. Why doesnt the other machine show up under entire network?? The
only progress I have made by directly connecting the two machines by crossover cable is that now I can ping and get results.

Do I have to setup anything related to the DNS or WINS on my workstation? Someone help please!! I am so frustrated.
