Office shortcut bar has gone balck?? No icons but can still access???

Hi,

I have seen this before but didnt worry me its now happened to a few users, I set the office shortcut bar to fit into the top right hand corner of everyones screen, on certain users the whole bar is blacked out and each icon is 'visually gone', but if you hover over it they are still there and you can click on say 'word' and it will open fine??

I have closed it down, moved it set it back up but it doesnt come back??

Oh office 2000 with sp2

Right-click on it, hit Refresh Icons.

thanks but refresh didnt work, i just took the shortcuts out and added them back in?

still strange why it happened,
