i download it then when i go back to it- it says theres only99% there and then my computer locks up in acrobat

It seemed to work just fine for me, I even asked my friend Manuel to download the same manual and he reported no problems. Maybe you need to reinstall Acrobat reader.

Steppenwolf, more likely a download problem rather than a Acrobat problem. Try re-downloading it. Disable any d/load managers first.
