I just posted this is the HP Forum and thought that I would give this forum a try as well.

I am not certain that this is even possible, but I thought that I would give it a go anyway.

There is something that has been bothering me for a long time. When printing a document in MS Word or other applications, my print box has many options:
Page range, copies, zoom...

However, I do not have these options when printing from IE 5.5. I only have page range and copies.

My questions is, how can I get them to be the same? My main problem is that I do alot of printing from the Internet and I would like the option to print the "odd numbered" pages and then the even to produce a two-sided document. Right now, without the "Print"(under "Print What") I have to print one page at a time wich becomes tiresome and often I am unable to finish in reasonable amount of time.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Also, if there is other information that I have left out, please let me know.

You can click on File->Page Setup for a couple additional options. Have you considered copying the web page to Word?

Hi Steve. No, I never really thought about copying the page to Word. However, that would be a remedy to my problem. I just wonder why there is a difference in the print prompt... like I have said, more of an annoyance than an actual problem.

Thanks!

Dear lyria,
SRJ is correct. When you print directly from IE, you get a lot of redundant, in fact useless (e.g. ads, columns of tables containing menus, news and what not) information. May be this whole information is important to you if you plan to design and evaulate your web page, but in most cases one is interested in only part of the page. Thus, as SRJ suggests copy only the relevant portion and paste in Word, or in any other software you deem appropriate and get the print out in the form desired by you (you might have to do some reformatting). I've been doing it all the time and get the output the way I like,
I hope that SRJ and I understood the problem correctly. If not, please let us know.
